Nino woke up in Aiba’s arms groaning at the pain on his side from sleeping with the man’s arm underneath him. He rubbed his eyes as he sleepily walked to the bathroom to prepare his bath. He stood in front of the mirror and stared at his reflection. His mind was reeling with images of Ohno making his lip pout the more he thought about the older man. ‘So this is love?’ he thought. The door opened and in came Aiba who slightly looked shocked to see Nino standing there.
“Morning,” Aiba’s groggy voice greeted. Nino snorted and nodded. “Let’s call in sick. I don’t wanna go to work today,” the older man whined.
“That does sound good, but I need to work to get my mind off of Oh-chan.”
“But I can be your distraction.”
“Get in the shower,” Nino laughed while removing his clothes. The other man pouted but took his clothes off too. They took a pretty quick shower before changing and leaving for work. Aiba was texting both Nino and Sho happily even though he’s supposed to be fixing up a few schedules. Everyone at the office could tell that the two made up from the change of atmosphere. His boss watched proudly as his hardworking secretary giggled at a text, deciding not to penalize him for it just this once.
“Nino you sure you don’t want to do anything? I don’t want to leave you all alone at home.” Aiba pouted stepping out of the building. They were done for the day and didn’t know what to do to kill the time they had. Aiba wanted to be with Sho intimately, yet he didn’t want Nino to stay home by himself.
“Go to Sho, you two must have a lot of catching up to do and I don’t wanna stand in your way. I’ll just watch a movie, masturbate, then fall asleep.” Nino smiled brightly.
“My poor baby,” Aiba sighed hugging his best friend. “Call me if you want me to come back. Cause I will okay.”
“Mm,” Nino hummed closing his eyes and relaxing into the hug. They pulled apart and waved bye to each other before going their separate ways. Nino sighed and took the bus home. He sat in the back and rest his head against the window before he closed his eyes.
Aiba felt guilty for leaving Nino alone, but he knew how mad the man would be if he canceled on Sho just to stay home with him. He pulled out his cell phone and called Matsumoto.
“Matsumoto-san are you busy?”
“Yeah, getting dressed for work. Why?”
“Nevermind then,” Aiba sighed.
“No what is it?”
“Well Nino’s bored by himself, but he doesn’t want me to stay with him cause he feels I should be with Sho right now. Which is true, but I don’t want him to be alone and I needed you to keep him company if it's not too much trouble,” Aiba said in one breath. Matsujun laughed and scratched the back of his head.
“Do you think he’ll want to come down to the bar and stay there til my shift is done?”
“When are you done?”
“Yeah sure, call him. Thanks bunches,” Aiba said happily. Jun sighed and mumbled before hanging up.
“I should charge for my services,” Jun said to himself before putting his shirt on. He left his place and drove to Aiba’s and Nino’s wondering why he actually agreed to this. ‘He’s not a baby so he doesn’t need a babysitter,’ he thought grumpily. When he got out the car he noticed Nino walking towards the building. “Nino!” He called out, startling the man.
“What are you doing here?” Nino asked, but before Matsumoto could answer he sighed and covered his face. “Did Aiba send you?”
“Yeah…” Matsujun winced.
“That guy won’t leave me alone. Okay so I suppose we’re gonna do something?”
“Well not really. I have to go to work and I’m bringing you with me,” Jun said pulling Nino towards his car.
“Wait, can I at least change? I wanna get out of this suit,” Nino whined.
“Hurry up,” Jun sighed leaning against his car. He must’ve waited 10 minutes before Nino came back out in his favorite pair of skinny jeans and a plain white shirt. Matsumoto couldn’t help but notice how well the outfit suited him. “Let’s go,” he smiled opening the passenger door. They arrived 15 minutes before Jun’s shift started leaving them with free time to talk. “So why exactly are you in need of a babysitter?” Matsumoto asked while cleaning up around the bar.
“Ohno’s gone for 2 months for an installation and Aiba thinks I will die if someone isn’t with me at all times,” Nino shrugged. Jun chuckled continuing with what he was doing.
“But isn’t this great for a…welcomer of sex?” Jun smirked while Nino glared.
“Yeah, but not for me. I don’t want to fuck anyone but him,” the older man said harshly.
“Ah, so you’ve changed. Bummer.” Jun pouted mockingly.
“I’ll stab you with those toothpicks if you keep playing with me,” Nino warned to which Jun laughed off.
“Okay I’ll stop. So what are you going to do with your two months? I mean you can’t do what you used to do so…”
“That I haven’t figured out. I know I’ll be working, calling Oh-chan, send him a dirty video of myself, hang out with Aiba, and quite possibly get stuck having you babysit me.”
“Okay so you’ve got about two weeks planned out there…what else?” Jun sighed clocking in when his shift started.
“Mm, I don’t know. Stop making me think about it and get me a beer,” the thinner man said grumpily. The bartender laughed but fulfilled the request anyway. They stopped talking for a while when the place started to get really busy. Nino stayed where he was at watching everyone with a new look. He never noticed how sex hungry the place really was. Men hitting on men and women, bodies grinding on the dance floor, people just making out against walls, and other things that should be left in the dark. When he turned back around he saw Matsumoto giving him a look as if saying ‘This was what you used to do too.’
“Want another one?” Matsumoto asked grabbing him another beer bottle. Nino nodded, suddenly wanting to be with Ohno. He felt his eyes watering the more he thought about how long he’d have to wait until he sees him again. Matsujun heard sniffling and looked over and noticed the gamer wiping his eyes. “If you want to leave you can. You don’t have to sit here like this,” he said in his ear because of the loud music.
“If I go then I really would be alone.”
“Is that what you hate most?” Jun asked, Nino nodded and got up from his seat.
“I need some fresh air and a smoke,” his voice trembling. Jun got out from behind the bar and went with him; he could use a break as well. When it reached 1AM, Matsumoto was unbelievably tired while Nino was asleep. He chuckled lightly to himself and picked him up to bring him to the car. “I got feet you know,” Nino murmured against the solid chest.
“Good now you can use them,” Jun said trying to put him down, but the thinner man held on tighter.
“Too sleepy,” Matsujun sucked his teeth, but continued carrying him until he reached his parked car. When he placed him in the car and buckled his seatbelt, Nino was awake staring out the window. “Why do you do this?”
“Well, you practically go out of your way to help Aiba and I’m wondering why?”
“I don’t know.”
“You like him?”
“As a friend yeah, sure.”
“But what? I’m just a nice guy with a hard exterior.”
“You’re helping cause of Sho right?” Matsujun made a face before Nino continued. “You love Sho so you want to help him in any way possible. And if that means making Aiba-”
“Shut up!” Jun yelled gripping the steering wheel tightly. Nino jumped a bit at the sudden burst of anger.
“Sorry,” Nino said softly. He knew he was hitting a sore issue, but he just wanted to know how bad it was. “So now I see your weakness.”
Jun remained silent and kept his eyes on the road. This was what Nino really doing for his 2 months without Ohno; try to find out more about Matsujun.
