I finally got to post something ;__;
Title: Relationship: It’s Complicated Love
Rating: R
Pairing: Nino/Yuriko Yoshitaka
Summary: He was a cynic and she was just weird. Together they were perfect.
Disclaimer: I am not nor do I know any of the mentioned characters. This never happened; it is just a work of fiction.
A/N: The POVs change from Nino to Yuriko. I have been slaving over this fic for a month now, so glad I’m done with it. It's quite a lengthy oneshot.

7 AM—Nino

Many things can happen at 7 AM. Eating breakfast, taking a shower, watching the news and finding out how sunny it will be for a whole week, walk your dog, get woken up by your newborn baby, deliver a baby…or be like me.

Awake at 7 AM with nothing better to do than to jerk off your morning wood. Best way to start off your day.

After my morning exercise, I shamefully popped into the shower to clean off. Such an act of pleasure always gives you that same guilty feeling like you had done it while an older relative was watching. “I’m sorry,” I whispered against the tiled wall of my shower to whoever was listening.

I sighed and continued with making myself presentable for society before checking the time. Again I would be running around the house trying to located clothes, socks, and shoes all while shoving burnt toast and hot coffee in my mouth. “Shit!” I yelled through the toast and quickly rushed out the house.

I don’t understand why we do this? Why do we worry constantly about being late for jobs that we hate? No matter who we talk to, we never say good things about our shitty jobs. The only good thing is that we get paid, even if it is minimum wage.

As always I made it right on time, nearly busting out in a sweat as I stood in the elevator. And as always, I was uncomfortably standing behind one lady, plus side was that she smelled nice; also she had on somewhat of a see-through blouse. A smirk appeared on my lips before my floor rang up.

Once I got through the millions of good mornings, I plopped down in my seat and rest my head on the table. I bet no one has mundane and beyond unfulfilling mornings like I do.
7 AM—Yuriko

“No,” I whined when my cell phone alarm went off. I had hit snooze three more times before I decided to get out of bed. I scratched my chest as I went into the kitchen and poured myself a bowl of cereal and watched some cartoons. To this day I don’t know why I choose the morning and afternoon shift when I know damn well I can’t even get up.

When it was pushing 7:30, I groaned and took a quick shower. I shoved my makeup in my bag and pulled out any random clothing from my closet before running out the apartment. I was lucky that I worked nearby my home, but the job itself was just annoying to deal with.

“Yuri, you’re late,” my boss said from behind his newspaper. He didn’t really care, he just liked to inform me of this every time I come in late.

“Mm,” I grunted and went behind the counter. “Why do we open so early in the morning?” I whined. “No one is going to buy porn this early in the morning,” I continued while spinning around in my chair.

“We sell more than just porn,” he chuckled. Which was true, we were a regular DVD store, but it seems that we get a lot of porn buyers.

“Well wake me up when it gets busy,” I murmured as I stood up and went to the back. I truly am lucky that I have a boss like him, but even then…working here blows.
I briskly walked to my favorite diner. The location was close enough, the food was delicious, the drinks were perfect, the waitresses were cute and efficient, and just the overall atmosphere was the best. But what I love most about that place was that it gave me a good spot to just sit down and think.

Even if all I ever thought about was how much I hate my job, my life, and the people all around me.

When I got inside the diner, I held back my look of disappointment when my favorite booth was occupied. Admitting to defeat, I sat at the counter where I met someone I never thought I would.

The door opened and someone plopped down next to me. She had a huge bag with her and was clicking away on her phone. Our eyes met for less than a second before I looked back ahead of me. Throughout my lunchtime, I couldn’t stop looking over at her. No it is not cause she was so beautiful that I couldn’t keep my eyes off her, nor was it cause her bag kept attacking me, or the incessant noise of her cell phone. It was cause she was eating her spaghetti with an overwhelming amount of hot sauce on it.

I wish I could stop gawking at her, but I couldn’t. When my eyes trailed up from her plate to her face, she gave me a closed mouth smile. I smirked uncomfortably before picking up my own burger.

“Would you like to try some?” she asked. Her voice…

It was a unique sound, nothing like the cute pouty ones other girls seemed to hold, it was slightly scratchy, like when you’re getting over a cough. I laughed modestly and shook my head.

“I’d like to be alive by the end of the day,” I smiled. She twirled the pasta around her fork and held it out to me. What was she playing at? “Seriously, I can’t with spicy food,” I declined again.

“Well you kept staring at it. I figured you wanted some,” she shrugged. Her fork was still held in front of my face, her left hand braced under it, just in case some sauce or stray pasta flew off. “Ah~” she said. I laughed and turned away.

“No thank you.”

“It’s not going to hurt, just eat it,” she chuckled. I turned to her again and sighed. She won’t leave me alone until I eat this damn thing will she. I rolled my eyes and opened my mouth, letting her shove her fork in. For two seconds it didn’t burn, until I licked my lips and chewed. All I remembered was her laughing and me gulping down my drink.

“What the fuck?!” I coughed, gaining a few stares. I covered my mouth with my napkin to catch the drool that was seeping out. She was still laughing before going back to her food. “Sadist,” I pouted as I took a bite of my burger.

“I’m more of an M,” she smiled, though it disappeared when she checked the time on her phone. “Damnit!” She paid for her food and collected her things. “It was nice meeting you,” she said before running out. I smirked before tilting my head sideways.
This pattern didn’t stop. Almost every time I had lunch I would see her. The weird thing is that we never asked questions as to what the other does. We’d only eat our food, she’d force me to try something with hot sauce on it and then we’d go our separate ways.

For three weeks this went on and for those three weeks we never asked for each other’s name.

“Hey, which one looks better?” she asked while leaning over to show me her phone. “This or this?”

“I wouldn’t know, dresses aren’t my strong point,” I chuckled.

“Well you can at least figure out which one is better?” she sighed. “Which one is uglier?”

Why do women do this? Ask questions that have no meaning. Does it really matter? Do they think men care? Who the hell was she trying to impress?

I stared at her then at the dresses and pointed to one blue dress with yellow and white flowers. “This is cuter.”

“Cause it’s shorter, you perv,” she laughed, giving me a playful shove. “Men,” she chuckled and continued with what she was doing.

“How long have we been meeting up?”

“Well we aren’t specifically meeting up, more like bumping into each other.”

“Fine whatever, but how long?”

“A few weeks, why?”

“We haven’t introduced ourselves.”

“It’s not needed,” she shrugged. “I’m fine talking to you and not knowing anything about you. It gives me so much to look forward to,” she smirked. I laughed and nodded.

“But what should I call you?”

“Anything you want,” she smiled. I smirked at the double entendre and nodded once again. “Just nothing derogatory, wouldn’t want to lose the perfect image that I have of you,” she continued as she stood up.

“Time to go already?”

“Mm, see you tomorrow?”

“Ah, I actually got the day off,” I winced. She smiled and shrugged.

“Next time then.”

I don’t know why, but I felt unbelievably guilty that I wasn’t going to see her tomorrow. It’s like not going to class and leaving your friend behind.
Next Day—Yuriko

I groaned in my bed, rolling around in the covers as I tried to get myself up. Something told me that today was going to suck. I was going to hate every minute of it and I didn’t know why.

Very slowly I managed to untangle myself and make it to the bathroom, where I showered up. As I got myself ready, I kept repeating to myself how much I didn’t want to go to work. After eating my bowl of cereal, I got on my bike and rode to work.

“You’re here early,” my boss said as I chained up my bike.

“Keeping records on that too?”

“Not really, it’s just rare for you to be a whole 30 minutes early. What’s going on?” he squinted his eyes suspiciously at me.

“Nothing,” I laughed. “Just woke up on time and rode my bike instead of walking,” I shrugged.

The hours passed and I was lazily rearranging the shelves until lunchtime. Usually I couldn’t wait for it cause that meant I could stuff my face with the foods that I liked. However that feeling had changed and before I knew it, it was because I got to talk to someone. If you couldn’t already tell I don’t make friends so easily.

When it hit 12 I walked to the diner, barely paying much attention to my surroundings. I sat in my usual seat, noticing the empty one next to me. Not wanting to share it with someone else, I placed my bag on it and sighed.

I don’t know why it felt different, I would just be doing what I did years before. Get some food, enjoy it while playing with my phone, then go back to work. Why was this harder now?

When my curry arrived, I placed my tobacco on the counter, said a small ‘itadakimasu’, and got ready to eat. As I took a bite I realized I needed my habanera sauce and reached into my bag. That was when I turned around and caught him standing by. I just blankly stared at him unsure why I was hit with a shocking wave of happiness.

“Saved me a seat?” he smirked.

“You’re the weirdo for showing up when you don’t have work,” I countered. He chuckled and scratched the back of his head. “Go ahead,” I smiled, offering his seat. I continued to stuff my face as we sat in our usual silence. “So what are you doing here? Thought it was your off day?”

“It is, but…” he dragged out and turned away.

“But?” I smirked. “You came to see me?”

“I felt bad.”

“Why? It’s not like I’ve never had lunch on my own.” Even though a few minutes ago I was sulking cause I would have to eat lunch on my own.

“I know, but I still felt bad,” he shrugged.

“Thank you,” I gave him a small smile and offered him some curry.

“See this is the only reason why I contemplated coming,” he sighed. I laughed while holding out my spoon to him, smiling when he ate the rice and roux. And as always he would cover his face and have a coughing fit while I simply laughed at him. I got him some milk and smiled. “Ugh I don’t know how you do it,” he rasped after a long gulp of his drink.

“Tolerance,” I smiled. He sniffed then looked over at me with a small smile, for the first time I saw how attractive the man actually was. He wasn’t in his usual dressy attire; he had on a blue cardigan, a white shirt, and some jeans. His hair that was usually styled in a 3/4th part was pushed back a bit, showing more of his forehead. Also, he was wearing glasses. I quickly wolfed down the rest of my food and paid. “I have to go,” I said as I stood up.

“Already?” he pouted and paid for the milk. “I should at least walk you back to your job,” he said.

“It’s alright. It’s nearby so I’m fine,” I smiled reassuringly at him. We stepped out the door and stood awkwardly next to each other. “I’ll see you next week then?” It was Friday after all.

“Mm,” he nodded. “Bye…”

I waved and walked off; I could still feel his eyes on me, even after I whipped around the corner.
I stood behind the counter, mind wandering somewhere else and not focused on the customer in front of me. Why did I just get weird like that around him? Well when am I not weird around him, but what the fuck was that just now? “Yuriko!” I heard my boss yell snapping me out my daydream.

“Customer,” he said pointing to the couple before me.

“Ah, sorry,” I said and quickly helped with their purchase. “Sorry once again. Thank you,” I apologized and bowed before collapsing in the seat behind me. “Fuck,” I whined.

“What happened at lunch?”

“Liar, you came back different from usual. Actually all day you were quite different,” he continued.

“How so?” I sighed and flicked my phone open. Two more hours til closing time.

“Well for one, you aren’t laughing or making sarcastic jokes with me.”

“So you like me that way?” I asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Well I’ve grown used to it, so yes,” he answered seriously.

I didn’t have a reason besides I met a man three weeks ago, that I know nothing about except that he hates spicy food, likes short dresses, and comes to that diner even if he doesn’t have work for the sake of his nameless friend to not eat lunch alone. What was hard for me to accept was that I’ve grown accustomed to the man, much like I’m sure he has for me. I hated that very slowly he’ll be on my mind and very soon I will want to know what he does, where he works, where he lives, what are his hobbies, his blood type, when’s his birthday, and above all…what’s his name.

I placed my hands on my hips before sighing and going to the back. I needed some more me time.

After lunch I felt weird, like I shouldn’t have come. I groaned on my couch, my beer balancing on my chest as I thought about what happened.

Something must’ve have happened to her, the air between us was just weird. I mean it’s always weird, but it was always calming. Also for the first time she didn’t look me in the eyes. “Ugh, stop it. Stop messing with me,” I groaned turning to my side, placing the beer on the table.

Thinking is my biggest weapon. I get too involved and too complicated that everything that was right becomes wrong, I end up restless and just overall push others away cause of it. I can’t let the only person I find interesting and entertaining slip through my fingers just because I’ve thought too much about her.

I ran my hand through my hair and sighed. “Did I fuck up?”
Next Morning [8 AM]—Yuriko

I decided to go for a small walk this morning because I had the hardest time sleeping last night. Those lips, slightly swollen from the spicy curry and wet from licking them…those damn lips were just on my mind all night.

It’s been a while since I had thought about someone like this actually. Men seemed to have stopped peeking my interest years ago, not like I was now bi or a lesbian. They just seemed boring and typical. This is why I liked to talk to him. He wasn’t typical, he was unpredictable and funny.

“Stop thinking about him,” I pouted and roughly ran my hands through my hair. It was annoying me that his small act of kindness was all it took.
[9:30 AM]—Nino

I was forced to go jogging with a friend of mine who is a complete health nut. I bitched and moaned the whole time, wanting to just go home. That was until I saw her across the street in deep thought. “Go on without me, there’s someone I know,” I said to him. I’m not even sure if he heard me as he just continued to jog on.

“Hey!” I yelled from across the street. Her eyes slowly turned to me and she just stood there with slumped shoulders. I crossed the street and smiled at her.

“I have to go,” she said. Slowly she backed up and turned away, but I grabbed her wrist.

“Are you okay? Did something happen yesterday?”

“No,” she smiled, it didn’t seem natural. “I’m fine, just…too much has been on my mind,” she said.

“You can talk to me,” I murmured.

“Sorry, but I like talking to you about stupid stuff,” she laughed, it wasn’t a genuine one. “Right now is just not a good time.” I didn’t let go of her, I simply pulled her closer.

“Did I do something wrong?”

She looked down and pulled her arm from my grasp. “I have to go,” she forcefully smiled.

“What did I do?” I persisted. I don’t know what I said or did yesterday, but whatever it was, it caused her to want to avoid me like the plague.

“You showed up,” she finally answered.

“You showed up yesterday. When you didn’t even have work, you showed up.” She ran her hand through her hair, trying not to look me in the eyes.

“Was I not supposed to?” I asked. She only laughed and covered her face, letting out a frustrated groan. I don’t know what was going on inside of her as she wiped her eyes and sniffled. She then let out an annoyed sigh and held out her hand.

“Yoshitaka Yuriko,” she smiled through her tears. I stood dumbfounded for a moment before taking her hand and gripping it lightly.

“Ninomiya Kazunari.”

Slowly our hands dropped then separated. “I wanted to know your name under different circumstances,” she pouted. I laughed and moved forward to wipe her eyes. “Don’t,” she said quickly moving back. “Don’t do that.”

“Sorry,” I said softly. The air between us felt like it did yesterday after we left the diner and I hated it. What exactly was I doing wrong? What about me was bothering her? “Yos—”

“I gotta go,” she cut me off while wiping her eyes some more. “Monday right?” she sniffed. I simply nodded and watched her walk away.

I groaned in bed as the alarm rang. So much had happened in the past three days that I just didn’t know what to do with myself. It wasn’t as easy as just ask her out, we weren’t like that with each other. Of course sleeping with her isn’t an option either. I don’t know why things got complicated, but it did.

I was dreading lunch for the first time in my life really. Who the hell would hate the one part of the day where you get a break from whatever is annoying the shit out of you? Granted we tried to make it seem like things didn’t just change that Saturday, I know she’ll probably feel awkward around me. I stepped into the diner, confused that I didn’t see her at our usual spot at the counter. I’m not early so she should’ve been here already. When I turned to my left I saw her sitting at my favorite booth.

Slowly I walked over to her; once she sensed me approaching, she looked up and smiled. “I remember you said that you usually sit here to think.”

When she said that, something inside me had awakened; she definitely became someone I didn’t want to lose. “Yeah I did, didn’t I?” I took a seat across from her noticing the way the sun was hitting her face, lightening up her hair and eyes. “What did you need to think about?”

She turned to me and smiled again. “Eat some,” she said as she pushed her hamburger towards me. Without hesitation I took a bite expecting my eyes to water and my tongue to swell up, but it wasn’t spicy. “I was thinking about you,” she sighed then chuckled to herself. “I’m sorry if I came off weird just now,” she said.

“When aren’t you weird,” I smirked. “Why wasn’t this spicy?”

“Like I said, I was thinking about you.”

If we weren’t in a diner, if I knew a little more about her…I would’ve kissed her right then and there.

“Oh…” I blushed and put the burger back down on the plate and pushed it back to her. She didn’t say anything after that, she simply looked out the window. It felt strange sitting there, not knowing what was going on in her head, and being unable to talk about anything just to end the awkward silence. “Maybe I should give you some more time to yourself,” I murmured and got up.

“Ninomiya-san…” she called out after me, eyes still gazing out the window.

“I like you,” she said calmly. I was speechless; I wasn’t sure what to say to her. I did like her company and I value her enough to a point where I wouldn’t like to see her sad, but would it be alright for me to actually say it back to her. She looked at me and gave me a small smile and a nod, silently telling me that I was free to go.

Slowly I walked out the diner without even saying anything.

It’s been years since I’ve cried over a man. Usually I’m able to put up a better front. With every male that I’ve spoken to, I’ve managed to keep them in the friends/acquaintance category. But unfortunately I met Ninomiya-san.

After I confessed to him, and he basically stood there like a statue, I let the tears of frustration slip past my eyes. Quickly and quietly I paid for my food before stepping out. I silently gasped when I saw him standing by the door, as I wasn’t expected him to be there. He didn’t give me much time to prepare myself for the kiss he planted on my lips either.

It was simple and gentle, just like I would have hoped it to be. His hand that was on my cheek moved to cradle the back of my head, pressing our lips even more. When he pulled away, I blinked at him, looking pretty much like he did back in the diner.

“I like you too,” he said softly. I blushed and pushed him away.

“No more of that until we get to know each other better,” I smirked.

“Yeah,” he chuckled and bit the corner of his lip.

“I should go.”

“Can I walk you this time?” he asked. I thought about it for a moment before nodding. Just like I told him on Friday, I did work nearby, which was somewhat of a relief. He was surveying the outside of the store, mentally recording the address before looking back at me.

“See you tomorrow,” I smiled and got ready to go back inside, but he took hold of my hand.

“What time do you get off?”

“You plan on picking me up?” I asked with a smirk to which he nodded. “It’s okay really. You don’t have to go into boyfriend mode since we aren’t dating,” I chuckled.

“I know, but…it’ll give us a chance to talk,” he said with a certain hopeful look in his eyes. I sighed and scratched the back of my head.

“Mm, okay. I get off at 11 tonight,” I murmured. He smiled and nodded before waving and going back to his job. Could I really keep us at the friend stage now?
11 PM –Nino

I was standing outside the store for about thirty minutes since I strangely got nervous entering the store. Especially when I can see she’s not by herself. The door opened and two last customers walked out. I peeked in before going inside.

She looked up me and smirked. “I was wondering when you were going to get the courage to come in,” she chuckled.

“Ah, so you knew?” I smiled.

“Mm, the two who just left said there was a creepy businessman standing outside,” she laughed. “They probably thought you were too nervous to buy porn,” she winked. My brows furrowed while staring at the closed door behind me, before I walked over to her.

“How was your day?”

“Um…normal.” She had gotten shy all of a sudden. I smirked and titled my head. Every minute I spent with her, she was becoming cuter in my eyes. “What?” she laughed when she noticed me staring.

“Sorry. So how long have you been working here?”

“Will you be the only one asking questions?” she asked as she was doing the night checks.

“You just asked one now,” I smirked.

“Shut up,” she groaned as she tiptoed to check the top shelf. “But seriously, you’re asking a lot of questions.”

“Is that bad? I thought you said we needed to get to know each other?”

She turned to me with a glint in her eyes. “I said no more kisses and junk until we know each other better…nice to see where your head’s at,” she smirked.

My head’s been there for quite some time really. Way before I met her. I simply smiled and moved closer to her. I saw her shiver when I stepped a bit too close in her personal space. The action made me want to kiss her again.

“You can ask me all the questions you want as well,” I said softly and seriously.

“I want to keep you a mystery. I want to discover it on my own,” she replied in the same tone. We were inches away from each other before she sidestepped away from me, and I didn’t miss the smirk she held on her face when she did it as well. When she was done checking the store, she locked up and we walked out. “Is this where you offer to take me home?”

“Not so sure, I’m kind of sleepy.”

“You didn’t have to wait for me,” she countered.

“You said you were done at 11.”

“I was done at 11, but you never asked if I have to close shop,” she smirked and began walking.

“Well how was I supposed to know it’s only two people who work there? Also didn’t you tell me you had the morning and afternoon shift?”

“I do…”

“Then why are you the one closing up?”

“To see if you remembered,” she smiled. “I stayed behind today to see if you would remember what I told you…and cause I wanted to see if you’d really come. Especially since I know you get out of work at 4:30 PM.”

“A test, huh?”

“Why did you stay overtime then?” she asked, ignoring me.

“I said I was going to pick you up right?”

“You’re an idiot,” she laughed and looked away. I knew she was blushing, but I left her alone. We continued to tease each other like this until eventually we made it to her apartment. “Ah~ guess you did walk me home,” she sighed.

And this is where the uncomfortable, goodbyes set in. I wanted to kiss her, that’s all I wanted. Especially with the way her lips pouted…fuck I would love to kiss those lips again.

“I’ll see you tomorrow,” I said quickly before I goof and end up attacking her lips.

“Just call me Nino,” I smirked.

“Next time it’ll be me to pick you up from your job,” she smiled. I nodded and walked away, sending her a small wave as I left in the direction of the train.
Things picked up from that day on between us. A few days out of the week, after lunch I would walk her back and if possible take her home. From what I learned from her, she’s very…interesting. She was open with me or at least as open as she wanted to be whenever I asked her questions.

She told me about her inner conflict with us, in a roundabout way. She wanted to remain friends with me, but it seems as though she’s failing. When she said this, I couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty of my actions. Though on the other hand I felt fucking cocky as shit cause I got her to fall for me.

We have yet to share each other’s numbers, but at lunch I had told her that I was going to be stuck in the office a bit longer and wouldn’t be able to walk her home.

Just like when I left her hanging at lunch weeks ago, I felt guilty. It was 8PM and people in my office had already cleared out. I was pretty sure the only ones left were me and the janitors. I was in the copy room, rubbing my tired eyes when I heard light footsteps moving about. I stepped out warily before catching Yuriko standing at the corner.

“I told you I was going to pick you up next time,” she smiled.

“Idiot I have ton of work to do left,” I sighed, trying to hide the happiness in me. She smiled and came over to me.

“Then let me help so you can end this quickly,” she pouted. “This place is creepy,” she murmured causing me to laugh.

Granted I didn’t want her helping, she still did and efficiently too. By 9:30PM we were done and I thanked her with a hug. She stiffened up a bit, but then relaxed in my arms. I didn’t want to let her go.

“Nino…” her muffled voice came from my shoulder. I hummed in acknowledgement and she tilted her head back to have a look at me. “You can le—”

I cut her off with a kiss. I did it again.

I had expected her to push me off, but instead she opened her mouth to deepen our kiss. That was when I lost it. My hands tightened on her hips, bringing her closer to me as our tongues danced around each other. A soft whine came from her when I bit her lower lip. Eventually, I had backed us into the wall where I was able to feel her small bust against my chest and she could quite possibly feel the beginnings of an erection forming in my pants. After a couple of minutes we pulled apart.

“That wasn’t supposed to happen,” she gasped. I rest my forehead on hers, taking in some air.

“Regret it?”

“No,” she smirked. We kissed briefly after that before we stopped for good.

She wanted to take me home, but there was no way in hell was I going to let her go back on her own. Even though she constantly kept telling me that it would be alright. In the end it was I who walked her home. I got ready to simply give her another kiss goodbye, but she took my hand and turned around to unlock her door.

Without a word she invited me in.

I don’t know what was wrong with me, but I had invited him in. I can’t say that I wanted to jump into having sex with him, which definitely wasn’t going to be an option between us. But I just wanted him to come in with me.

“Yuriko-chan?” he questioned.

“Chan?” I blinked.

“Ah, sorry…too soon?”

“No,” I smiled and went to the kitchen. “Would you like to come over tomorrow?” I blurted out.

“Mm…that’s why I invited you in.” The look on his face was clear that he didn’t understand me. “I wanted you to get the layout so you wouldn’t have to bother me with where things are,” I smiled.

“You’re giving me permission to roam the apartment?”

“Just don’t go through my medicine cabinet,” I laughed while popping a piece of bread in my mouth.

“And what will we do tomorrow?”

“I cook, you play those games you love so much,” I shrugged. “I still have my old games, barely touched them though,” I murmured while looking in the fridge.

When I turned around he was standing right behind me. I thought he was going to kiss me again, seeming how that’s his usual attack, but instead he stroked my cheek.

“I’ll see you tomorrow,” he smiled before leaving. We never set a time, but more importantly he never roamed the place.

Tomorrow came almost way too fast. I swore it was just a few minutes ago I was standing in my kitchen while he stroked my cheek. Now I’m on my hands and knees trying to make the place look…normal.

“Ugh I hate cleaning,” I groaned. At noon, the time we went out for lunch, Nino rang the doorbell. Something about that made me blush.

“Too early?” he asked when he noticed my disheveled state. I shook my head ‘no’ and invited him in.

“Um, make yourself at home, I’ll just be doing some last minute cleaning.” I left him in the living room before running around with my Swiffer. Once I was done, I joined him on the couch and plopped down next to him.

Of course we were stiffly sitting next to each other. Weeks ago it wouldn’t take us no more than a second to find something to talk about. Now, we’re lucky it takes a minute. I looked over at him when I noticed his hand messing around in his pocket.

“Whatcha got there?” I asked curiously. He smirked and pulled out a deck of cards. A magic trick, huh?

“Pick a card,” he said.

“I didn’t know you knew magic.”

“Well now you do,” he smirked. “Now pick a card, memorize it, and put it back in the deck.” I followed the order, pulling out the King of Spades. “Okay, with one card I will be able to tell you what you picked,” Nino said.

He pulled out a three of hearts and placed it in between us. Our eyes then met as if he was confirming that it was my card.

“That’s not it…” I chuckled. “Are you sure you don’t need another try?” I teased. Nino only smiled at me and bent the cards in his hands so that they fluttered all over the place. When I looked at them, I noticed the ones facing up were the King of Spades. I even turned the faced down ones and they too were the King of Spades.

“That is your card,” he smirked.

“You cheated,” I smiled.

“How so?” he picked them all up and then snapped his fingers. “See, normal deck,” he showed me the cards and it is true, they weren’t fake ones.

“So you practice this on your own?”

“Mm,” he nodded. Something about that made me smile. He was lonely. All the hobbies I’ve heard him mention are ones that you do out of boredom or when you’re lonely. Unbeknownst to myself why I did it, but I leaned in and kissed his cheek.

I looked at her with a confused look. “I thought you wanted us to be friends and that this can’t happen between us?”

“I did say that, yes.”

“Then what was that just now?”

“We’re alike, the two of us. Very much alike,” she said. “I know I will begin to like you more than just a friend. I kind of already do, but…”

“You don’t want to admit it?”

“I told you…I…” Her voice faded out, she was in deep thought right now. “I want to cherish what strange relationship we have. I don’t want to just fall in love and fuck,” she said after a long pause.

“So do I, but that’s just normal. It’s not something we can avoid, especially not purposely cause it only makes things worse.”

“So you would like us to just fuck?”

“Don’t take this the wrong way, but I would love to fuck any girl I’m interested in. But like you said, we’re the same and I don’t want to lose you so easily.” She was looking into my eyes when I said this. I felt like we were running into the same wall over and over again. We clearly want each other, on more than the ‘just friends’ basis, but she doesn’t want to admit it to herself. “How about we make some lunch?” I smiled, trying to cut the tension in the air.

As I got ready to stand up, she lunged at me and placed a hard kiss on my lips. I wanted to complain about her unstable feelings, but instead I simply pulled her into my lap.

Fuck it. Sometimes you just gotta say fuck it.

I clearly want him and he wants me. So just fuck it.

Fuck these complicated feelings, fuck this wanting to be friends only, fuck acting like nothing’s wrong…just live Yuriko, just kiss him.

That’s what I told myself after he basically said he was respecting my wishes of keeping us at the ‘just friends’ level.

Also, it’d be a stone cold lie, if I said I wasn’t dying to have those lips on me. Nino’s hands rested on my hips as I proceeded to suck on his tongue. He was moaning softly into our kiss which hit a certain spot for me down below. His hands now cupped my ass as he rearranged our positions.

“Please tell me to stop or I won’t be able to control myself anymore,” he panted. I only pulled him in for another kiss, I was done holding back.

He was gentle. I remembered his hands caressing my body softly as he kissed my neck. I remembered the way my back arched when his tongue ran across my nipples; when his fingers rubbed and pinched them. I gasped when I felt his bulge pressing deeply against my warm center and blush covered my cheeks when I desperately started to grind against it.

“Yuriko,” he moaned against my chest.

“I don’t think I want you to stop,” my voice trembled. He looked back at me before nodding and carrying me to my room.

I stripped out of my clothes when I reached her bedroom. She had done the same and now we were in our underwear and passionately kissing on the bed. I sucked on her nipples briefly before going down on her. Her body spasmed the more I touched and tasted her.

“Ninomiya-san…” she gasped, placing a hand roughly in my hair. I kissed my way back up and pulled my boxer-briefs down. “Wait,” she whimpered when she felt me poking at her entrance.

“What is it?” I asked while kissing her neck.

“Second drawer…in the back…condoms,” she panted as I stimulated her. I gave her a chaste kiss before going over to her dresser. I hastily made my way back to her, placing the condom on while sucking on her neck.

She opened her legs and wrapped them around me as her answer. I took hold of the base of my member and pushed in gently. A short gasp left her lips, but it soon turned into a pleasured whimper.

“You can go in faster, it doesn’t hurt,” she smiled.

Following the order, I thrust the rest in causing her to cry out. I rotated my hips, loving the soft moans she’d make.

“Yuriko, ready?” I asked before I end up accountable for any harsh actions I do to her. She nodded and grab hold of my arms. We kissed briefly before I pulled out halfway and thrust back in.

It was as if we were one. The way his body moved against mine and vice versa were in sync. My arms were wrapped around his neck while our lower halves ground together. I could hear his soft grunts in my ear, which served as a great counter balance to my whines.

“Ninomiya-san,” I gasped when he pushed all the way in. That was when he started to go faster. The indecent sounds of our skin slapping increased and our voices rose. His soft grunts were turning me on so much, causing my walls to clench him tightly.

“Fuck,” he groaned, rotating his hips into mine.

“I’m close,” I whimpered when he brought a hand in between us to rub my clit. He kissed me, drowning out my soft noises before he pulled back so he was on his knees and lift my hips to thrust in harder and faster. I called out his name like a mantra, moaning like a common whore before I tightened around him and came.

He lasted a few more thrusts before he came as well. I reached up for him and kissed his parted lips. “I love you,” he panted.

“We haven’t known each other long,” I giggled to which he just shrugged and held me closer.

“I love you,” he simply repeated. He pulled out of me and removed the condom before rolling onto his side, holding me tightly.

I wasn’t sure how to take his confession, but it made me happy to know he wasn’t going to leave me anytime soon. Our eyes slowly closed as we succumbed to sleep.
Three months later—Nino

I groaned when Yuriko said she was going to make dinner for me. I mean as much as I loved her, I could never love her spicy food.

“I’m done,” she said in a singsong voice. She same out the kitchen holding two plate of omurice, one with my name written on it.

“Babe…” I whimpered looking at the large serving.

“Don’t worry, I didn’t make yours spicy,” she smiled and held out a spoon. I took it and scooped some into my mouth, noticing the way she was intently looking at me. Letting Jesus take the wheel, I chewed and was shocked at the lack of pain. I blinked at her and smiled.

“It tastes good.”

“See,” she laughed and at her food. Everything was going well until I hit the middle. I cried out and coughed, covering my mouth.

“Oh you lying bi—” I cut myself off to cough some more.

Her laugh rang through the apartment along with my yells for her to get me something to drink. Even though she liked to torture me so, I still love her.

oooooooooh this was sooooo good! I absolutely loved it, the development of their relationship was lovely and funny and the way you switched between POVs was really smooth and interesting. Love all the hot sauce references, it seems like you really nailed their dynamic ^^
(Also, you're the only writer who can get me to read het, because your fics are always amazing regardless!)

i was a little wary of the rating but seeing Nino and Yuriko in one fic eventually made me click the link. And I'm glad I did! Ahh, so nice~

These two deserve more rumors in real life. I'll definitely be happier that way. XD

I don't really read much het fic and I didn't really get why anyone ships NinoxYuriko (until I saw Perfect answer though xD), but since you wrote it I gave them a chance and I'm really glad I did, it made me love them together even more <3 Hope to read more NinoxYuriko from you in the future :D
cry1babycry1baby on September 7th, 2011 02:41 am (UTC)
Haha like i dont like to be the type to ship someone with a coworker only cause they worked together, but more on the fact that during interviews and such they looked good together. so yeah her and Nino are just cute as hell xD

thanks for reading despite not being a big fan of het and yes i will be writing more of them in the future xD
